The
Pied Piper? No!
It's Madison and her friends.
We love to
show our llamas throughout the country. We participate in halter
classes but performance classes and costume classes are available.
Competitions are held in various locations and the ultimate prize is
winning the opportunity to show at Nationals held in November each
year.

We enjoy sharing some of our experiences with
llamas. A new
friend shows one of our llamas for us.

We use that fiber. Each spring every llama is sheared. We sell the
fiber and save some to spin, knit, crochet, felt or weave
ourselves. Llama fiber has little lanolin in it and is a
hollow shaft which acts as an insulating factor making it very warm
to wear. It can be dyed or left in one of many natural
colors and can be made into very beautiful garments. We love
the soft feel of the fiber. The average llama will
produce approximately two pounds of harvested fiber each
year.
