What do you do
with a llama?
The
possibilities are as broad as your imagination. Llamas can do
everything from caddying on a golf course to guarding sheep. They
are a very versatile animal.
We love our
llamas!
We enjoy
their companionship, their serene nature, their majestic presence,
their courage, their intelligence, their personality and their
individuality. We began our lives with llamas with a love of
them and now center our lives around these beautiful animals.
Owning llamas does not have to be all-consuming, but we urge
everyone who has any animal to do so with a commitment to their
well being.
We enjoy sharing
our llamas!
Though it is
hard for us to part with one of our llamas, we have met so many
wonderful people wanting to enjoy them as well, that we are pleased
to help others find the perfect one for them. We are excited
to have others enjoy the species.
We have
taken our llamas to festivals, charity events and parades throughout
our area. They have entertained Church groups (both young and
old), bus tours, children's homes, 4H groups, ag groups and camping
groups.
We love to show
our llamas!
Competitions are held throughout the country in which llamas
compete and are judged in performance, halter and driving
classes. All our llamas are halter trained for handling and a
lot for show. The llama shows are a great family
activity. Our llamas have qualified for Regional and National
level competitions.
Our herd sires
are available for breeding!
As part of our llama services we offer a wide range of
llama sires for outside breedings. Check out our males on our
'Herd sire" page.
We
sheer!
We
shear our llamas each spring to make them more comfortable. We have
fiber for spinning, weaving, knitting, crocheting or felting.
Llama fiber is different from sheep's wool in that it does not have
much lanolin, and it has a hollow shaft which makes it lighter and
warmer than sheep's wool. Llama fiber is becoming more and
more popular.

our wonderful llamas!
